Agroecological monitoring. Scientific and methodological provision of a system of observation and control over the condition and level of pollution of agroecosystems (and their adjacent environments) in the process of intensive agricultural activity, with the aim of ensuring environmental safety and economic efficiency of management. Includes monitoring of phyto-, zoo-, microbiota.

Environmental assessment of agricultural technologies. Conducting an environmental examination of the technologies for growing agricultural crops in order to ensure ecologically safe production and quality of agricultural products, as well as to prevent a negative impact on the condition of the environmental and human health.

Preservation of biotic and landscape diversity. Organization and conducting of comprehensive surveys of phytocenoses of agrolandscapes to identify areas with significant bio- and landscape diversity, with the aim of preventing the loss of species richness and ensuring the preservation and restoration of rare and endangered species in them.

Molecular and genetic studies of determining the species composition of microbiota, assessment of biodiversity and identification of interspecies and species relationships in ecosystems at the phylogenetic level.

Virological studies, monitoring and diagnostics of plants for the presence of viral infections that are common on crops in Ukraine.

Testing of pesticides and agrochemicals. Biological evaluation of plant protection products, agrochemicals, plant growth regulators, biological preparations on agricultural crops and forest plantations. Ecological assessment of the danger of the impact of plant protection products and agrochemicals on non-target objects of aquatic (fish, daphnia), soil (microorganisms, earthworms) and terrestrial ecosystems.

Creation of biological preparations – development of technological maps of the production and use of microbiological preparations, which allow solving the issue of the formation of sustainable agroecosystems, increasing the yield of agricultural crops and the quality of the obtained products.

Educational and methodological support of agricultural production. Consulting services on issues of ecology and biosafety, agrochemistry, microbiology, virology, herbology in agro-industrial production. Conducting exhibitions, conferences, round tables, seminars, trainings, lectures, internships.
