MAIN DIRECTIONS OF LABORATORY ACTIVITY
- radioecological research in agro-landscapes and forest ecosystems;
- carrying out works on radiation inspection of forests, agricultural lands, etc .;
- study of the specific activity of radionuclides in agro-industrial products;
- advisory assistance on agricultural production in the event of radioactive contamination;
- development of scientific-methodical and organizational bases of use and protection of agrarian, forest ecosystems of radioactively contaminated territories and their harmonization to international requirements;
- carrying out a dosimetric survey of the population of the territories affected by the Chernobyl accident;
- determination of vegetation condition and moisture supply conditions according to satellite data for management structures of different administrative levels;
- assessment of the sanitary condition of forest ecosystems using remote sensing of the earth.
